At the beginning of August, CEH
Informatics Company - Investment Company of Sao Bac Dau has successfully
implemented and put into operation to VTOS (Vietnam Terminal Operation System)
Port Management and Administration Project for the International Container Port
SP-ITC, helping SP-ITC become the first
automated container port in the country.
For
the investment in software research and development of experienced engineers,
after only 2 weeks of implementation, SP-ITC has performed entire operation of
an international container port. This is considered as a port management
project with the fastest deployment time until now while other software in the
market takes at least 1-3 years.
Currently, there are many other
TOS software, however, each software only satisfies a part of management stages
such as operating yard or ship plan, .... Therefore, these ports are often required
to cooperate with many partners, leading to high costs, asynchronous and
difficult to upgrade. Meanwhile, VTOS solution is designed synchronously,
meeting all requirements of the port - shipping lines - customers on a single system.
In addition, VTOS can be installed on many different types of devices such as
IOS, Windows, Android, helping to save investment costs and convenience for
users.
VTOS
is the first comprehensive solution on port management and monitoring in
Vietnam with full functions for port management. This solution allows to set up
a plan of loading and unloading goods on vessel and yard and optimizing the
loading and unloading position in order to quickly release goods; Managing
container details on yard, vessel and providing online services; warehouse and
storage management services and others such as: Online registration of
services; Online payment; Electronic Invoice; Customs liquidation; goods
information look-up; yard information look-up; vessel schedule look-up,... VTOS
can be widely applied to many ports such as: Container Port; General Port; ICD.
