HCM City Computer Association (HCA) in cooperation with HCMC Young Business Association (YBA) hosted a workshop on "Application of cloud computing for the enterprise" on 04/24/2014 at Sofitel Plaza. Also join co-sponsoring and organizations was Sao Bac Dau (SBD) and inter-provincial Telecommunications Company (VTN).
The workshop introduces the 02 most common services to participants are virtual server and content delivery network. Specifically, the vCloud and the vCDN were developed by SBD and VTN.
vCloud services help customers set up their virtual server infrastructure with high performance from a group of single servers to a Virtual Datacenter system with thousands of cloud servers. Services are suitable for all types of enterprises with different scale operations, especially in the banking business, finance, insurance, FDI, enterprise digital content business , e-commerce. Representatives from VTN, Mr. Pham Gia Loc said "vCloud provides the ability to access a secure remote monitoring and management system. vCloud is multi-layered security from the physical layer to the virtualization layer ensures the data flow and optimal security".
Besides, talking about vCDN services, Mr. Tri Truong Le - deputy director in charge of vCDN services vCDN said that service was content delivery network - to help bring content closer to Internet users as possible, to help increase site performance access to content and increase system availability highly. Appropriate service to the Service WEB providers who have high traffic, the OTT applications providers, vendors via the Internet and digital TV customers to access the Internet in the country as well as internationally.
