On July 16, 2022, Sao Bac Dau Technologies Corporation held the 2022 General Meeting of Shareholders. The meeting elected the Board of Directors (BOD) for the term of 2022 - 2027 including 07 members and the Supervisory Board including 03 members; Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang holds the position of the Chairman of the Board of Directors.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Sao Bac Dau for the 2022 - 2027 term
Mr. Nguyen Duc Quang is one of the SaoBacDau’s co-founders since 1996, contributing to building the company's vision, organizing the Company’s activities and business strategies from the early days of its establishment. He was the General Director of Sao Bac Dau from 2000-2007 and the Chairman of the Board of Directors from 2007 - 2019. He is described as a great contributor to the strong growth of Sao Bac Dau during this period.
At the Meeting, Mr. Quang represented the Board of Directors to set up strategic orientations for the new term 2022 - 2027:
1. Business development and administration: Maintain and strengthen the Company's existing market share in IT services, redirect business development to service areas with high technology according to megatrends of the world.
2. Financial and risk management: Establish a regular monitoring system according to international standards to ensure the minimization of risks in finance and administration. Ensure the goal of increasing the financial capacity for Sao Bac Dau and the plan to reach the Company's charter capital at VND 200-250 billion after 05 years.
Mr. Quang gave the strategy for the new term of 2022-2027
3. Redefine the business model of affiliates: Build in the direction of developing products and solutions to ensure meeting market needs and based on each affiliate’s strengths.
4. Consolidation of the Human resources: Plan to develop, attract and foster successors who are young, enthusiastic, straightforward and suitable for the corporate culture.
5. Investment in Science and Technology: Commit to continuously create funds and sources of expenses for high-tech research activities.
Previously, in the 2017-2022 term, under the leadership of the Board of Directors and the Management, Sao Bac Dau achieved many remarkable achievements such as impressive revenue growth, increasing equity, continuously achieving many prestigious awards in the industry such as Top 10 IT companies in Vietnam (awarded by Vietnam Software and IT Association - VINASA); voted by Vietnam Report and Vietnamnet Newspaper in the top 500 fastest-growing Vietnamese enterprises in the 2017 - 2022period,...
Mr. Le Hong Phong - General Director of Sao Bac Dau reported the results of the fiscal year 2021 and orientations for the fiscal year 2022
At the end of the 2020 - 2022 term, Sao Bac Dau faced many difficulties due to the objective impact of the market and limitations in the context of the prolonged Covid-19 pandemic that affected the implementation of the projects, the operation situation did not fully reflect the Company's resources, thus partly affected the Company's business results. However, Sao Bac Dau still maintains sound cash flow, asserts its position as the leading partner of technology partners, and Sao Bac Dau’s affiliates maintain and consolidate their revenue in the traditional markets.
